Seller Rating Guidelines

CampusBooks Marketplace Seller Ratings

The CampusBooks Marketplace uses a Seller Rating System that allows Buyers to rate their experiences with Sellers. Seller ratings are displayed next to book listings, so that Buyers can make a more informed purchasing decision. The Marketplace uses the following 5 star system for Seller Ratings:

- Excellent
- Good
- Average
- Fair
- Poor

Sellers are encouraged to maintain high ratings by accurately describing the book quality, pricing the book fairly, and shipping promptly. Sellers with higher ratings stand out from other Sellers, and can more easily sell books.

Buyers are encouraged to rate Sellers fairly and accurately in three categories: Book Quality, Price, and Shipping Time. Providing relevant feedback regarding your purchasing experiences is important to the overall quality of the CampusBooks Marketplace. Buyers may not use the Seller rating system to post defamatory comments about Sellers. Buyers are allowed to rate Sellers up to ninety (90) days after the confirmation date of the order.

CampusBooks is not liable for any remarks that users post to the Site, even if those remarks are slanderous, libelous, or defamatory. We will not censor Buyer comments, or investigate them for accuracy. However, CampusBooks reserves the right to remove the following types of ratings:

Ratings that contain profanity or adult material.
Ratings that contain personally identifiable information about a user.
Ratings that contain any link to another page, picture, or JavaScript.

Additionally, CampusBooks reserves the right to remove Seller Ratings if we are served a valid court order or any other valid legal judgment or arbitration resolution demanding we do so.
